Author. Father. Scroll-Scribe. Firestarter.
I was born in Fresno, California, the son of a humble Baptist minister and his faithful wife, Michael and Julie Voss. I grew up moving constantly—nine schools between first and twelfth grade—learning early that roots don't come from geography, but from covenant.
I encountered the love of Christ as a child, and though the fire flickered in my teen years, it never went out.
"Roots don't come from geography, but from covenant."
Every mighty man's story is written in the furnace of testing, refined in the crucible of covenant.
By 16, I was impeached from student leadership for drinking at a party—my first fall, but not my last. At 18, I gave away what was meant to be kept. For four years, I chased a god I imagined instead of the God who formed me.
But at 22, He claimed me fully. I began serving in youth ministry, met Haley—my future wife—and after moving to Redding, California, I encountered both cult and culture. It was there I started preaching in the streets, sharing meals with the homeless in my apartment, and baptizing them in my bathtub.
That fire came at a price. Haley left during our first year of marriage. I came home to an empty house and a broken heart. But six months later, she called to repent. We reconciled. We rebuilt. Our covenant endured.
From 2002 to 2008, I built a thriving mortgage and real estate firm. Then came the crash. Then came the desert. As the business collapsed, I pivoted to energy, launching Xfuels in 2010.
After stepping in as Chairman to shield others from an investor accusation in 2017, I was sentenced to 13.5 months in federal prison in 2019—despite a prior arbitration ruling in my favor by three former Washington Supreme Court Justices.
Sheridan wasn't a prison. It was a furnace. I didn't survive there—I served. I pastored. I fasted. I wept. I wrote. Over 200 men encountered the presence of God in that chapel. It became my Adullam.
Through courtrooms, betrayals, business collapse, and years of financial exile, God stripped me of every false crown.
The instrument of divine revelation
The passion that burns for souls
The message carried through fire
For over 25 years, I have written, refined, and carried these scrolls. In the last decade—between 2015 and 2025—they've emerged from the wilderness with fire.
"Like Moshe, who came down from the desert with five scrolls, I now return with fifteen."
These are not just books.
They are blueprints.
They are not just teachings.
They are trumpets.
They were not simply written.
They were carried.
